Not only was my viewing experience atrocious (I was thirteen, however they played movies in theaters at the time, it kept breaking. Like three or four times they had to "fix" the film/projection/what have you), the film itself was an outright travesty. The book was my obsession at the time, and to help tide me over from Eldest to Brisingr, I really thought this film would fill the void. I have no possible way to explain the complete and utter letdown that this film was to my thirteen year old self, and apparently, to countless others as well. Every thread I see on the internet asking for "worst films in history" has multiple people listing Eragon. Heed our warnings.
