Well... this book was great until half way through when it changed styles, and included a lot of extraneous rambles. It is just too long. The main plot was lost, became diluted, and I ended up losing interest. I really had higher hopes from such a great author. I'm surprised this won a Pulitzer but I imagine that had a lot to do with the subject matter, which of course is extremely important. I have 40 pages left and really don't care about finishing it.. not a good sign
