#Vettaiyan The movie isn't like Petta or Jailer, which are pure "mass" entertainment films, primarily meant to celebrate his stardom. That said, don't start to read between the lines. It's just to tell you frankly that it's not a movie centered around Rajini heroism alone. That's it. 😏 Vettaiyan is a strong content-oriented film with typical thalaivar swagg! The director, Gnanavel has beautifully handled a sensitive contemporary subject with a very convincing storyline, giving out a good message to the public, like he did in Jai Bhim. If you loved Jai Bhim’s making, you'll love this. But unlike in Jai Bhim, I felt some scenes could’ve been trimmed to keep the movie more gripping. It's pakka Gnanavel padam with ample thalaivar mass moments. Of course, as usual Ani’s BGM is ✨🙌🏻 And, my God. #FaFa ❤️ - the man, the actor! What a performance throughout 💯 🥳 Classic BLOCKBUSTER. Do watch it IN THEATRES!

Visual effects treat! 2.0 carries a good social message and the second half is really good. Screenplay could have been better and some dialogues could have been avoided. But the fact that thousands technicians have worked in the film is evident. Superb making and VFX is awesome. I'm not aware of the science behind the plot but the film carries a decent explanation for it. New title card for thalaivar, robotic way. It's gets really awesome when 2.0 comes. Surprises in the end 😈. Shankar sir, a person from Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu has delivered it for Indian Cinema. Go have a watch, experience it in 3D only My rating: 8/10
