I think the large majority of people don't like this anime because it isn't about the hero righting wrongs and saving the day. It's actually quite the opposite with a lot of accountability. The Anti-Hero.

The first episode of Re: Zero Season 3 was simply spectacular. With a runtime of an hour and a half, it might have seemed like a risky move, but honestly, it didn't feel long at all. Every minute is carefully used to deepen the characters, prepare us for the future events, and give us a clearer understanding of the world we're in.
