I am autistic and I've watched two episodes so far. The show doesn't really seem to show the true spectrum of autistic persons. It's also very difficult for many of us to have a camera in our face so it doesn't necessarily depict our natural personalities. So far I feel like it is only depicting a neurotypical viewpoint of a stereotypical autistic person which is very inaccurate. I do acknowledge that the people in the show are autistic but they all seem to fit some type of mold that was handpicked. I also do not like how overwhelming some of the parents are. While that is sometimes the case it is also often not the case. I hate to give up on things so easily but this show is just not for me.
