Yes, I found the recurring references to masking a bit much, and, as a never trumper I was ok with the political views. It was not my favorite but I found myself wanting to get home to pick up where I left off. I did not miss the omission of the supernatural. I loved how evil Emily was. As a recent suffer of sciatica, that was unpleasant reading about Emily's pain. However, I must thank Mr. King for motivating me to seek out medical attention for my pain. I certainly didn't want to start eating humans. 😳
