Since release this game has held my attention. Obviously I haven't been playing non-stop since, but I always do a playthrough at least once a year. I am actually currently taking the time to platinum it right now! The game, in my opinion, is a masterpiece. I can't go into detail on why that is a fact, as there are many youtubers out there who can better describe it because I am no journalist. I'm just a dude saying that this game is awesome and if you're considering it, and you are a FROMSOFT fan, do yourself a favor and play it; If you have a PS4/5- of course. It deserves your time, and you would deserve the experience!

Gameplaywise the game is excellent! The game runs smooth as eggs and prompts are responsive. One of the biggest things they korrected was kombo-breakers. In MK11 you had to time a kombo-breaker, while in the air, which was just your kharacter being armored and falling to the ground at a faster rate than normal. If somebody was good at mixing you on the ground you were toast. Also doesn't help that half of the time I was trying to kombo-break it was failing. This game, however, has brought back true kombo-breaks, getting you out of any kombo whether in the air or on the ground. The game is far from perfect, though, with a few quality-of-life things missing like tagging special moves or kombo strings to show on screen, so you aren't having to konstantly go into the menus. I'm hoping this is something that can be patched in later, but for now I have to keep checking the menus during practice mode. Not a real big deal, but it was in previous titles so it should be in this one; So we're moving a little backwards here. kharacter intros don't play during single player gaming, but play during online matches. Terrible decision, IMO, because if I was going to skip intros it would be during online mode and not single player. Again, not a huge deal, but let's not remove what has worked in previous games. There are a few bugs I've noticed. One that sticks out is your kombat report sometimes not showing after kompleting a Tower. I skip the kredits and one time it didn't show, but one time it did. So I've no idea if it happens because I skip the kredits. I am not watching the kredits again, which I've already done after kompleting story mode for the Trophy/Achievement, so I kan't say if it would happen even after watching the kredits. Also, kredits after kompleting a Tower? I feel like that needs to be removed, even though they kan be skipped. All in all, I am really enjoying the game and I recommend it to any kombat fan. The game will only get better as time goes on, and I'm excited to be a part of it! Great job, NRS. You've got another great game to add to the list!

Watched the first episode last night and I couldn't be any more satisfied. The adaptation was very close to the source material and it wasn't trying to re-identify itself. There were a few very minor differences that I had no problem with, at all, because some things can afford to be changed. I don't want to spoil anything, but these changes could've been done in the Remake and would've been a refreshing change- Honestly. I really hope they continue with this formula in the second episode. It would suck if they came out this strong with EP. 1 just to drop the ball in EP. 2. I really hope this Series is successful, based on what I saw in the first episode!

I'm venting because I wasted $120 with high hopes for this "game", preordered and everything! Game is terrible. Terrible map design. Terrible UI. Terrible aiming for consoles. Terrible Operators with no real identity other than, "HA! HA! HA! WAR FUN! GUNS GO BANG! BANG!" Terrible selection of artillery compared to previous titles. There's 20 guns total among all classes! What the hell is even that for a Battlefield game!? Some classes in previous titles had 20 to themselves. Unacceptable to setup an expectation for a game and then drop the ball. Not only drop the ball but slam it towards the ground, knocking ice cream out the kid's hands who was gleefully watching from the side lines. This game is a joke compared to the previous titles, that actually made you feel the grittiness of armed combat. This game feels as though a bunch of 12 year old kids, hyped up on Mountain Dew fresh off Call of Duty, ran the direction of this game and we have what was released. To make matters worse it's a game that was marketed as a "Live Service" and there has yet to be even ONE event. The game was released six months ago and all that's been released is patches. Patching up a game is all well and good, but this game needs complete reconstructive surgery and maybe even a little brain transplant. This game needs to be scrapped and redone. Refund those who paid to test the game and start all over. Whoever worked on this title should maybe take up Tik Toking. At least on there trash is to be expected and, who knows, they may even become more successful at that than working on a game critically acclaimed because of successful titles prior to; And those games were bugged as well, but at least were a lot more stable than this. How does an FPS fail to be an FPS? I present to you, BaTtLeFiElD 2042.
