The ending was so dissapointing! What is the point she went through all that trauma, finally got the grandson but then her husband dies, so she is going to live in misery anyway. Really awful, and the graphic psychological violence of shooting the horse and chopping his fingers off could have been left out. What was the point of that? The atmosphere and vintage scene settings were brilliant, but the storyline did not fit with your intended audience. Not everyone wants to watch violence all the time! We are not all teenage boys.
