Normally I absolutely love these kind of films where they blur the lines between the unreal and real world but this was an absolute shambles for me, I like to see something like this as real as possible but from the dyed red gorilla/chimp that uses a ninja type weapon, the cartoony baby gorilla/orangutang, the gravity defying tribal world and the many Pokémon type monsters including the moth that makes a very anime cry and the cheesy Pokémon music this is a couple hours I will never get back 😖 not to mention the robotic arm they use on kong. They didn’t just blur the lines of reality they completely turned this film into a kids cartoon. And don’t get me started on the very lazy story line, my kids could have been more creative
