I usually read King on holiday; this was straight out of the oven fresh, references to the distant COVID plague. All good stories, particularly the last one, the Answer Man. If explained it could sound corny, but a great take on fate. I’ve never been disappointed with my holiday book; this set of yarns was ideal .
