This is an eyes wide open look at the experiences of a single middle aged well-educated woman holidaying alone on a Greek island. She is careful about her own safety. There are known and unknown threats everywhere. She is an observer of other people's lives who are also on holiday, eventually getting drawn into their lives with unhappy consequences. We see her fears and joys unencumbered by family or friends. She stands before us, naked as it were, with her inner demons, fears and unresolved inner conflicts . Five stars!
