What an absolutely special show. I am in awe of the community and crew built around this cast, characters, and the writing that draws us immediately into the crew.
These people feel like family. I've watched the show countless times already and recommend it to everyone I know. I have never seen the beauty and kindness of the queer community shown so earnestly or with such care. This show makes you feel welcome to be yourself. It hands you a cup of warm tea (with seven sugars) and tells you a bedtime story that feels like a hug.
Thank you to everyone involved for giving us the chance to find love and laughter and growth with this silly pirate crew.
I can't wrap my head around Max's decision to not move forward with a third season. I would watch every story that follows these characters, and truly the possibilities are endless. This show contains so much room for growth. I hope we all get the chance to experience more Our Flag Means Death together again someday.
