Probably my favourite TV series of all time. I absolutely adore Alice Oseman’s Heartstopper comic series and her novels/ novellas and this series makes it even better! I’ve watched the whole 8 episode series multiple times and it always gets better. The cast was absolutely amazing and for the roles better than anyone else. From someone who loves Heartstopper and all of Alice’s work, I would 100% recommend this to anyone. It portrays LGBTQ+ representation spectacularly especially giving the fact in modern day media it is harder to find a lot of LGBTQ+ stories that members of the community can watch, enjoy and relate to. Heartstopper as a whole is able to represent a whole community and does an amazing job in doing so! From all the symbolism between Nick and Charlie’s colours of yellow and blue being constantly displayed, to the little cameos, this series was just fantastic. I hope to see another season to be renewed and hope to see the cast in Paris!
