I think this is an amazing book and series for that matter. The way that Mark Lawrence paces the book is brilliant and unique (at least to me). A warning though the story draws you in and won't let go I found myself lost in this book for hours at a time. One more thing the ending is SO good to the point where I was still awestruck days after I finished it. The ending was unique and honestly unexpected. I finished the book last week but I'm still groveling at is brilliance at perfection so I decided to write this review. If you are on the fence about getting this book you 100% should it will not be a waste of effort. Just if you didn't know this is the end to a trilogy and it requires that you read the first two (Prince of thorns and King of thorns) I decided to write my review on this because of the three this was, by far, my favorite. I am now going to read the prequel (Road Brothers) and hope that it's as great as this trilogy.
