The characters Riley Flynn, Father Pruitt, Erica Greene, and Bev Keene
deliver brilliant examination of religion, death, eternity, biblical references and immortality. Each of the four leading characters offer dialogue to a viewer, time and again, warranting the rewind bottom 'did i just hear what I just heard?'
Existential questions are answered in a wonderfully directed set and horror plot by director Michael Flanagan. Walt Whitman, Breaking Bad and Jose' Saramago and Shakespeare are all felt emotionally as the 7 episodes unfold.
