This book is nearly useless. It is poorly written and is full of worthless paragraphs that explain nothing of value over and over. When it attempts to basic terms it just rambles, an example of this was: "The informal sector in Nigeria refers to economic activities in all sectors of the economy that are operated outside the purview of government regulation. This sector may be invisible, irregular, parallel, nonstructured, backyard, underground, subterranean, unobserved, or residual". We get it, you already explained what the "informal" sector was do you really need to just say it again and use up a word count? Is the writing team just trying to hit a word count to ship the book? Don't get me started on the other content and the lack of actual value to the reader. As someone who is forced to read this, I am shocked that any university would see value in the book and make it assigned reading. Then again, i doubt anyone actual read this besides the students.
