Meh.... Discalmer I have not listened to the podcast other than a few episodes. Maybe this book is more for people who know the world and already know the backstory of some of the characters however as a big DnD fan i was disappointed. The story never really made me care one way or the other about Lucien his group of Tomb takers or the Might Nein. Lucien's choices led him down an obvious path and then the Mighty Nein kind of show.up and try to stop him because they were paid to. Then it becomes personal but even as Lucien becomes a lower case god he can't kill any of them.
