Despite other reviewers, I believe this show to be very well written. If you’ve ever worked out known people who work on the rigs then you’ll find a lot if similarities. Also for being very familiar with West Texas it’s spot on. I think the show is well made and does a great job of keeping you captivated.

My husband and I really enjoyed the movie. Is it super scary? No, but it gives you just enough anxiety to wonder what’s going to happen, then enough relief, followed by another dose of anxiety. Funny you actually find yourself going for the Bad Guy until the end. Josh Hartnett did a great job and don’t even get me started on “Lady Raven” to finding out that’s Shyamalan’s daughter AND she sang and wrote all those songs?! What a talented family! What it boils down to is this… everyone needs to stop comparing every movie he makes to the Sixth Sense. That movie was a one of a kind and great for that time period. This movie while not so dark, is very entertaining. Will it win Oscar’s? No, but for a date night movie it’s really good and keeps you guessing just enough. It’s entertaining and after all that’s why we go to the movies. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I really liked this movie! It reminded me of Lady In The Water but much darker. Like her father, Ishana recreated that Shymalan twist. For people who know the Lore of the Fae, changelings etc, I think would will enjoy a good story. Plus it has very suspenseful moments, not a horror movie but enough to give you that uneasiness and anxiety. I think whenever a film can invoke actual emotions it’s a great film. I liked Dakota Fanning, she’s probably one of the best actresses that can just act purely with her eyes if she wanted to. I would definitely recommend to give it a watch.
