Some of you people are rediculous. If a stove is hot, you know it's going to be hot, you will get burned if you touch it, but you touch it anyway and then complain about it.... Welp, that's absolutely stupid right? Kind of like the commitment to watch a movie that you know the premise of, and then get upset after when it's not to your liking and was upsetting to watch. It's rated R. Are we not mature enough by now to know what rated R consists of ? If you're that sensitive and triggered by something, don't watch rated R movies or exercise your freedom and read the parental guide. Problem solved. There's no way of knowing whether or not something is going to have explicit sexual or violent scenes unless you go into detail and do your research beforehand. Which you have every right to do but instead chose not to and proceed to watch a movie that makes you uncomfortable and then complain to Google about it and leave a bad review. Yes, it was disturbing and violent but if they were able to pull it off that well, then they did a good job in my opinion. I personally think it's a great movie. I felt that the storyline was well put together and the acting was great. I feel like it portrayed survival very well. As a standalone movie and not comparing it to the West craven version, it was fantastic. Is it a little over the top? Sure. Did it make me a little uncomfortable? Most definitely. I'd be more concerned if people weren't bothered by a particular scene in this movie. But it's still a good movie and doesn't warrant a bad review just because my feelings were touched. It's not to say I don't understand that some people have trauma, but if you know this about yourself, then watching a rated R movie with this premise only to get upset after is your own fault. If you go into a movie blindly it's also your fault and not an earned bad rating for the producers. Makes no sense. I mean, grow up or stick to PG????
