Tragic love stories are typically haunting, at least good ones, so I believe Bly Manor did the job. I love the out of the box interpretation of what is considered a haunting and that even requited love does bare lost souls. I celebrated Dani's and Jamie's love and literally wept for Peter and Rebecca. The tragedy and betrayal was heart wrenching...I so wanted a happy ending together for them both. I loved Hannah's voice and found it to be both soothing yet melancholy. T'Nia Miller did a superb job at capturing and portraying her character. And as far as creep factor, the faceless ghosts especially Lady Bly were perfectly dreadful. Hill House, which I equally love, and Bly Manor are simply two different interpretations of what a haunting can be and it was superbly executed.
