This film is horrible. Like I’m half way through and nothing about this is scary. It’s just mad gore and has exorcism type moments. Like the film didn’t even make sense nor have a plot to it that would draw the audience in. So much I can say about how bad it is. First of all, the beginning didn’t have anything to do with the whole movie which I was trying to figure out who those people were. No context or anything. The movie just moves on from that and start with a new set of characters. Secondly, the cast for the sister and the kids was just terrible. Like I’m not sure what writer was trying to do but he did confuse me. Like you have a daughter who looks like a young boy, a son who looks, sound, and acts like a little girl, and then the little girl who I have no problem with right now. The son wants to be adventurous and go into a whole after an earthquake and takes things from that are obviously not supposed to be touched. Like you see teeth on a book and you going to take it?!? And then once the mom is possessed, they are do a horrible job of being scared and then not asking the right questions and being idiots. Like how did she get that way? You heard her say “don’t let it take my kids” and then die and then she wakes up and you walking to her saying El after seeing she looks demonic!! Like it doesn’t make sense hence why it’s not believable and just makes you mad. Cause the sister is doing a horrible job at protecting. Also, when the daughter got attack it took them forever to come to her rescue and no one was really physically hurt to where they couldn’t do something. And then after all of this the young daughter sees her mom threw the peep whole and can see she looks and sounds demonic and is going to open the door and say she seem like she was better hahaha. Like come on now. This movie is not good at all. But I’ll continue to watch to see if it gets better but I highly doubt it. If you want to see a scary movie that reels you in and gets you go watch Smile!
