I’m a car guy and watch hoping that it will give me some sense of ff1,2 or 3 with at least some sense of normalcy. Fast x delivers this in the first half of the movie. Dom does nothing superhero like at first, almost seeming as if he has lost his superhuman abilities, however the second half of the movie it came out with the ridiculous brain dead action nonsense. At times the compelling urgency is so far fetched and seems forced. Overall I like a few tie backs to a bit of story line. But let’s face it the majority are here for the insane action. This reminded me of gtaV I feel like the directors pulled most of this from things you could do in the game. I’m glad I actually have a car action movie I can turn to than nothing. So watch with caution and don’t ask why during action scenes, just shhhhh and let it happen.
