When I first saw the trailer for this movie I knew it peaked my curiosity. After seeing it I feel this touches me at the core of what we are all capable of accomplishing within ourselves no matter what the age. Stallone still gives a helluva performance as a super hero at the tail end of his life. Maybe that’s why I can identify with this as I approach 70, because I can identify with the mixed emotions and feelings that come with age . It might not have the glamour or glitz of a Marvel or DC movie or even the huge budgets, but when you sometimes question your purpose in life, this movie at least lets you know there is hope for all of us. After so many years of watching movies, I don’t go in looking for plot holes or perfect character development. I never have. If it touches and excites me than it has met it’s purpose as far I’m concerned. Samaritan does that and so much more.
