I honestly think some film critics struggle to get into the frame of mind of the age that some movies are targeted at. I watched this with my 8 year old and 6 year old children and really enjoyed it! Sure there's no deep plot, no character progression and plot holes etc. Who cares? It's loads of fun, it's hilarious and it's classic Tom and Jerry through and through with plenty of familiar characters from the cartoon and great comic actors doing exactly what the movie intends to do. Loved it!
