As a fan of the original movie I'd have to say this writers of this series really need to go back and rewatch the movie itself and get a better grasp on the concept of the movie and how to move forward with the series. The teenage drama that is spilled out in the episodes I've seen thus far is quite pathetic. There is definitely too much integration of modern-day 2022 themes being felt throughout the entire show and it's a definitely feels more like a Disney Child Sitcom. The HUMOR is so forced that the show is hard to watch. The hormones flowing thru the young characters is down right aggravating and the actors themselves just feel fake in every aspect. I am Glad to see Warwick Davis and Joanne Whalley return to these enchanted roles as a Bridge between the Movie and Series. Better character development and better acting from the new cast would greatly improve its ratings in my opinion.
