Surprised to see that this was 91% on rotten tomatoes?! I can't fathom as to why. Whilst the film certainly wasn't all bad, and there was some interesting turns on a familiar plot, I found the acting particularly by the female lead to be considerably over-egged. If you are a woman being chased by a male abductor who currently cannot locate you, do you A) crash through the woods loudly, screaming as you go, or B) silently hide somewhere, keeping as quiet as possible?
There were many frankly ludicrous scenes like this which threw the female lead into a really annoying light. Instead of running away, she would slowly walk, groaning loudly as she went. And after the car crashes, I'm unsure why she spends so long laying around in the mud groaning when seconds later she's perfectly able to weight bear?
An overall slightly irritating film but suspenseful in places and not the worst I've seen.
