The actors in these movies have the best deal in the entertainment business because they have so few lines they need to remember, lol. I wish the writers would've included some sort of origin story like if the aliens were sent down to earth from another alien race or maybe it was an accident , something would be nice to tie in the Day One story. The characters were a good fit and loved the cat. The scene where thousands of people were in the streets and the aliens attacked, realistically, would have been a blood bath and more terrifying, unlike the decision to add the clouds of dust that seemed to manifest when the aliens attacked. The producers must have got a great deal on cloud dust, because the first thirty minutes looked like an extended scene of 9/11. Overall was ok and even meeh for the most part, glad I didn't pay for it, especially for the somber ending and seemingly sad moral of the story, which is if you have terminal cancer just give up all hope 😕. That's the writer's message not mine. Someone released the full movie with ads on Youtube and when I went back to look at the credits Paramount had it removed, just a little too late, lol.

I love the concept and the story line and the characters although as a former chef and restaurant consultant, the disappointment was the family and friends opening not only because the Chef De Cuisine (Carmy) was locked in the walk-in but also because the restaurant only sat about a dozen tables but the ticket machine was going off like they had 40 or 50 tables so the realization fell flat as did the excitement and momentum for me at that climatic point because of that loss of reality. Other than that I will continue to watch because I am a true food snob and culinary arts fanatic and I love the storyline.

OMG, can the hero be any more whiny for the entire movie? I love JLo, and I love her character having so much intellect, but it would've been much better if she had more of a Independent sense of strength and confidence with her determination other than always displaying GAD (general anxiety disorder) and that's on the writers not JLo and don't let me get started on the superior advance special Tactical Unit with all that advanced gear and space travel tech that did absolutely zero Recon going to battle the most deadly adversary the planet has ever faced... 🙄 then wondered why they all ended up dead in the first 5 minutes. 😐 It did have entertainment value, just glad I didn't pay for it, LOL On the positive side, the ending was righteous and deserved a standing applause !

Pffffft, how does Netflix start off with a unique adventurous storyline & plot (1st Rebel Moon) that takes you throughout the Galaxy with wondrous amazement and passionate heroes fighting a powerful nemesis, to ending up with part 2 that is basically a battle on a farm against a superior alien race? And what was really kind of annoying was the advancement of their technology in space travel and flight but they had no other choice but to harvest a crop of Wheat by hand instead of lazazing a whole 10 acres in a few seconds, truly one of the biggest disappointments and let Downs to such a intriguing first movie that I admittedly and regrettably braged about and recommended. 😐 Boooo...
