Extremely well-rounded game. I truly enjoyed how it heightened both the light-hearted and yet also gruesome aspects of the gameplay when compared to its predecessors. In true Yakuza fashion, the settings were exciting, the characters interesting, the opening theme bitchin, and the humor top-notch. Yes the fighting was a bit frustrating at times, along with the limited controls and fairly sub-par karaoke selection, but none of that undermined how much fun this game was. Not to mention the plot itself, which provided a great shift from the smaller Yakuza/gang world by introducing the politics of Japan as a whole. Highly recommend playing this, especially given the backlash it has received from wider audiences.
