Powerful. Direction, scenery. Lange conveys more in her eyes than most. Elizabeth Olsen is marvelous, and Oscar Issac is positively yummy!

Not sure what to think. The actor goes by Viktor but presents in every way as a woman. Is the actor trans and deadnamed, or not? If not, as good as Viktor is, they should have found an actor who was in transition...THAT would be bold. Cis straight mom of a genderqueer child speaking.

Strong beginning; then, increasingly boring. Waits is great, but story takes forever. Worst of all is the repeated depiction of "Indian warriors" taking scalps, cringeworthy and insulting, espec when viewed in... Thanksgiving. Just YIKES. I love the Coens, but this (despite its stunning cinematography and great acting) was a disappointment.
