At 2-hours this movie would be decent, but the additional 1.5 hours makes it not worth watching. At least in the theater.
If this is the result of a script rewrite because the first version was "telling the story of two white men" I can't even imagine what that original was about. Because the movie was a story about two white men. How is God's name do you make a 3.5 hour movie that is so far off from the book and incredibly boring?
