I didn't hate it at least. However, you can tell that, despite the good acting there has been so much bad writing left over from Alex Kurtzman's involvement/interference. Dahj is too much of a Mary Sue, too perfect and everybody loves her instantly. There is much shallow dialogue and there are some very lazy tropes. Whilst I can see it could have potential and the acting is actually on point (Stewart's is without question,) it's a bit a like someone got the premise and the script put them in a Blend-Tec blender... "Don't breathe this." ...Im highly disappointed Akiva Goldsman is still on the writing staff.
Is it worth the monthly CBS AllAccess sub? HELL NO! Binge watch it instead, and if it turns out poor, then you know you haven't wasted too much money.
