No spoiler. This movie was so intriguing I would like to believe the backstory has just begun. After seeing this you'd be so curious about the high table there's so much more you'd want to know. Remember - John Wick 1 opened with a bang but did not show how he became an assasin in the first place and who the hell gets to be on the high table and how he got out. In this 4th franchise, they showed how one becomes an assasin. But that may not be how John Wick started his. He is the legendary babayega after all. Yes. There is still the signature dog. But unlike the previous 3, it will take you to a confusing emotional roller coaster ride. All of us in the audience were gasping, shrieking and clapping at every twist and turn of this movie. John Wick 4 is intense, the story elevated, and just when you thought it cant get any better it does. This one is the one you need to see. The choice of character personas was so cleverly inclusive and unexpectedly relatable to a degree except they have jujitsu and kickboxing assasin-level skills. And at one point I felt like I was in a video game and was gasping at this insane fireball weapon John Wick was using whoever ideated and created that as part of the weaponry needs to be commended. I waited for this movie for so long. It did not disappoint. And oh, sit till end of credits. 😉
