It's a ton of fun. Ignore the folks that absolutely need authenticity or a cookie cutter screen grab of the game to tv. Oh my God, it isn't perfectly true to the game... how dare they... It's a show, story, and lore skinned by an immensely popular video game franchise. It takes inspiration and liberties to tell it's own story. The acting and writing is fun, goofy at times, juxtaposing massively different worlds within worlds in a bit of a culture clash cold war. But what it truly brings is a human through line between the most naive and the most cynical in an enjoyable, sometimes darkly funny or grotesque way. FFS just don't take it too seriously.
