There is so much to talk about the movie and to do so would take days, so the aspects I would highlight in this TLDR is that every single frame has meaning and is a masterpiece on its own, the story is heartfelt and meaningful (and stays true to comic books in a very familiar way), the importance of this film in relation to everything Spider-Man and Marvel (and I mean more than you could imagine) is very evident and possibly crucial to the future of Marvel on the big screen, the Spider-Man Easter Eggs and references are amazing if you love any incarnation of Spider-Man (even in other forms than animated), and if you enjoy the emotional expressiveness of color, Gwen’s universe (65) is the most beautiful, especially in how its artistic features are explored by the animators in portraying her interactions with her father. The music is also on-point. The end makes you want to watch Beyond the Spiderverse ASAP, the part 2 of this story. Across the Spiderverse is a truly unique experience that masters the art of animated storytelling in a way that makes it not only one of the best animated movies ever made, but also one of the best movies in terms of any type of visual experience
