went in expecting not to like it but really enjoyed the progression. definitely understated and not in your face haha funny. Themes about family relationships and loss were powerful and important. give it a chance!

This movie came out when I was super young and I'll admit I was a little upset by Leslie’s death. Growing up and losing my best friend the twist at the end is one of my favorites. This movie reminds me of coco and my girl. Two movies that do a fantastic job at making death approachable for younger people. I think people undermine the need for movies like this. Maybe it seems morbid and depressing but for someone dealing with loss, this movie can be incredibly comforting and beautifully illustrate the magic of friendship. Plus because of the themes, this movie is great for families mom, dad and kids will all get something out of it.
