Trite and totally predictable. The producers and scriptwriter seem not to get the fact that the heart of the story is the allure and emotional connection of folk music in general and shanties in particular. Not a trite contrived love story. Nor every obvious country yokel trope that can be cobbled together. By the time I was predicting the next scene and the next line it was time to cut my losses and go home early.
