The movie is funny, powerful and self explanatory if you watched all the marvel movies leading up to Avengers: Infinity war and Captain Marvel end credit scene when she was paged. The movie is a female lead superhero movie which I think we need more in our society. She will defeat Thanos whether you like her or not.
