Sarah Barnes

I first heard about this on Netflix and was intrigued about it, especially since I read the books countless times and finally got round to watching it. From that first episode, I found myself instantly disliking and not enjoying it and I hoped that if I kept watching (which I did), my dislike would change and I would enjoy it but it didn't and in the end, I ended up giving up watching the show after four episodes. For me, the show felt too different and none of the characters look anything like the characters that I've read. I know that the show has a modern twist to it and I'm sure that it would be enjoyable for others but the show is not for me.
