This was really frustrating. The show is super cute with great actors/actresses and a fantastic premise (obviously!!). However, there are some "social" messages that are really inappropriate for children. I understand the desire for these things to be included as they are important subjects that our society is hyper-sensitive about right now. However, these types of things should be addressed by a child's parents and not a child's tv show. I know that many television shows take on current events and tough subjects, but this is a children's show. Adults understand the context and framework of social issues, children do not. It is a parent's job not Netflix's, to discuss these things with their children and it's at a parent's discretion in terms of timing, language, examples, etc. It's is really a shame that this show is being used as a platform for these issues as it's so cute but ultimately, it's inappropriate for children. Very disappointing.
