Yikes. Why does something like this even need to exist? What lessons do we need to learn to move past this? Please move past this weird phase...

I have never been more disturbed in my life then watching segments of this show. Only started to get curious because of Deadpool and now I cannot fathom how this was ever supposed to touch Deadpool. This is a toxic cesspool that would taint anything good it ever touched. Shame on anyone that enjoys this.

Destiny and Bungie have gone through ebbs and flows of being amazing and being downright cringe. Their last expansion, Lightfall, was a travesty in terms of story telling and they've had tendencies to pull some incredibly shady tactics over the years. DEI is noticeably crammed into it without remorse (that one can be overlooked given that I myself have run into plenty of racist/misogynist cretins while raiding that I would love to see pushed out). However, all in all, the core gameplay and the sheer volume of things to chase and accomplish in this game make all the murk and unsavory aspects moot. This is the kind of game and the genre I want to see flourish. I hope Bungie never gets so complacent that they fumble this entirely, because they have something truly worthy here.
