Jessica Chastain is brilliant as the quirky naive and ultimately vulnerable Tammy Faye. That is in itself why this film was so riveting. It is beautiful in its way and makes the greed and opulence part of a bigger picture by showing the real humans behind it

Jessica Chastain was brilliant unfortunately her co star usually a great actor consistently upstaged her the antics and played for laughs that were inappropriate. It was unbearable to watch people who apparently did not have a prior experience to laugh. Great performances from the entire rest of the cast
