The visual effect of this film is STUNNING! However, like many have noticed, that’s all about it. It’s a great leap for Chinese Sci-fi film but only from the technical perspective, the core, the story, is really bad. There are many logic gap, and the character performance some of them is just awkward. Overall I would give the film like a 6/10, mainly due to its visual effect.
