SPOILERS AHEAD: The Marvels, strangely an overload on chaos yet captivating. The first few scenes on the movie give us an overview of what’s happening, a bit of foreshadowing, though this scene felt rushed as it was rather short, I applaud you, CGI experts not just for developing this scene with such care (background mainly) but for such an in depth world with multiple varying planets. Let’s keep going with the positives then reach into the negatives. Writer(s) a clap and a half for you, I was flabbergasted to see the resolve of the bio weapons as eggs, although it is a bit uncanny to see a space-demon hidden within a cats body impregnate itself. It was one of my favored gags. The kittens floating in a space shuttle paired by “Memory,” hilarious. I adored Captain Marvel’s and Ms Marvel’s interactions cringe-level noteworthy but minimal, might’ve appreciated a few more. Good Remarks on The Marvels final fight: epic Verdict: best combos in the universe. I like how in the beginning we transition between each Marvel’s vibe starting off from Ms Marvel, but did not like that it was fast, and killed shortly. Delving into the nightmare of negatives: Hated how quickly they “killed off the more recent “marvel”” I know she’ll return, but why limited in the X-men movie and end of phase 4? AND music ohhhhh the lack of good songs in this movies scares me. The Marcels presents itself as a movie with chaos matching GotG. yet falter to provide us with intentional music choices that adds flavor thus enchanting the movie’s tone. Moreover, writer(s), you failed to give striking dialogue to the henchmen. The main villains death just tells us you were lazy as she dies not by her own actions (figuratively), she dies out of blind rage or psychopathy. Before she evaporates, the main characters tell her to stop but of course she doesn’t listen, because oh “I don’t want you’re help fixing my planet, you killed it,” sorry for my informality here: DUDE YOURE LITERALLY GOING TO DIE, AND THEYRE OFFERING HELP. I believe the backstory was underdeveloped, we literally only get to see her in one of the flashback scenes, and it’s when she GETS SHOT, for god’s sake.
