This movie is hilarious. Reading the negative reviews is baffling. These are the same people who gave Dumb and Dumber zero stars. And their parents are probably the ones who said Blazing Sadles should never have been made. When I read people like the reviewer from the vulture who said the commoners were guffawing at the base humor, I know I’m on the right track. Maybe if he trimmed his beard and took off his fedora he would have been able to recognize this movie for what it was: a slapstick spoof on the Sherlock Holmes genre, and well done.
