I watched Yuri on ice when it first aired in 2016. I was in the 8th grade and I fell in love with this beautiful anime. I am a Figure skating enthusiast although I don't skate myself, and watching this show was a such a pleasure. I didn't pay much attention to Yuuri and Victor as a couple because 1. I couldn't understand their relationship and 2. I was only in for the figure skating. I rewatched YOI again this year 2020 when I got hit with all the feels. Everything now made sense to me, that not only was the skating sequences so passionate it was because of the emotions behind it. That Yuuri and Victor were so much more. They're a couple we all wanted but did not deserved. Since then, Yuuri and Victor have been my OTP. Yuri On Ice is a beautiful sports anime with a very strong romantic background. It's a love sotry hidden in a sports anime. A definite recommend for everyone who is In for a beautiful non fetishizing gay love story, and figure skating.

My cousin brother recommended it to me (he studied in Kota as well) and tbh I was not interested in it initially. But then I thought to give it a shot and boy it's so great! Love the concept and the story, can't wait for season 2

I absolutely love this, and who wouldn't? It's so funny,cute and yet interesting. I love this even more because it's my bias Sehun's first variety show!!!! So proud of our baby maknae!!!!
