Honestly, Marvel’s recent movies have made us, women, look really bad… The whole “women empowerment” theme that Marvel (aka Disney) keeps pushing is only going to deepen the hostility and resentment that many men feel toward feminists. I understand that Marvel is trying to diversify its fan base by creating movies that (they think) will appeal to women, but they are going to lose a lot of their existing fan base if they continue in this direction.
