The irony is actually hilarious. It shows how disconnected software developers are from the real world, so much so that they don't even notice what everyone what does. Like the fact that postal vehicles are right-side driving, and that rural mall carriers don't wear uniforms. It's perfectly accurate to show how little they know about the real world.
