I really enjoyed the show! As a huge fan of ATLA! The bending and fight scenes were amazing! I like how this has more seriousness to it because I was able to get my parents to enjoy watching this with me as well. I was able to better understand how aang felt when his people were lost seeing how cruel the battle was between the fire nation and air nomads. I like how they explained kuruks journey and the portrayal of kyoshi was amazing! I would like to see avatar Roku more helpful to aang as he played a huge part in helping aang in the cartoon. They stayed true to the story for the most! Of course there are some tweaks. For us true fans it does feel a bit rushed only because we had all those fillers in between events on the cartoon series but this is a live action and production time and aging is a thing guys! This was a great show! I’d rate it 9/10. My parents who never seen the original rates it a 10/10! Only the people who seen the original and not being open minded are being overly harsh but still watching the show more than once lol they secretly love it! Come on season 2!
