Thanks to the numerous failings of recent lucasfilm projects (such as Kenobi or Mando s3) I honestly didn't have high expectations going into this show I but I didn't think it was going to be this terrible. As a Star Wars show it conflicts so much with established lore. It practically renders all these well thought out stories of the past meaningless. Anakin Skywalker was an anomaly. The only living being created through the Force. Nobody has seen anything like him before or since. Or that was the case until The Acolyte. A coven of witches casually created a pair of twins 100 years before Anakin. A Sith shows himself to the Jedi . This would completely undo generations of had work in secrecy. First contact in of a millennia was between Qui-Gon and Maul, but somehow a sith has now shown himself 100 years prior to and is forgotten? Even Jedi master Ki-Adi-Mundi shows up and this is decades before his birth. There is a lot wrong with this show as a part of Star Wars, but what about as just as a show? If we ignore the fact that it is meant to be a Star Wars show, are there redeemable qualities such as writing, or acting? No. The dialogue and characterizations in this show are remarkably bad. Consistency is not a word these people know. Ideologies flip flop more than a fish stuck on land. Evil twin, Mae sets out to kill jedi at the behest of her sith master and succeeds. She then decides she is going to turn herself into Jedi, claiming loyalty to her sister. She then resists the Jedi as they attempt to arrest her. She then knocks her sister out cold and leaves her stranded in a hostile environment. The dialogue is atrocious as the writers attempted to create something that would sound profound, but they didn't know how. There are contradictory statements from characters that are made to look as though they know what they are talking about. The bar has been lowered to such abysmal depths, that even mediocre shows like The Book of Boba Fett is much better than this. I am honestly done with Star Wars. It feels as though the people in charge of making it, hate the series. It not fun anymore. It honestly stopped being fun after The Last Jedi came out. I'm not investing any more time and energy into it.

Velma is a chore to watch. The humor, or lack there of, is cringe at best. The series has taken a beloved series and bastardized it into something it should never have been. The characters are teens in highschool, but the show has a weird idea of fetishizing and over sexualizing them in tons of scenes. There are no likable characters in this show. Everyone continually tears each other down. None of the gang acts as they should. They might as well have been entirely new characters. If this series had nothing to do with the Mystery Gang and was an original series, they'd still need to fix all of the poor dialogue, and characterizations just to salvage something out of this show.

Very fun game. Haven't had a good giant monster fighting game since the PS2 era. Gigabash has nice level design and cool monsters. My biggest gripe is that there aren't a lot of monsters. Roster is 10 characters, not including the Godzilla DLC. Would certainly like more monsters and mechs. That's really just a nitpick though. It's fairly solid game. Worth the purchase. Would love to see more. Would love to see a new Godzilla game.
