The plot for why Santa could not use his magic powers and had to rely on humans was lacking. There were other plot holes big enough to drive a truck through. It is sad that Candy Cane Lane was funnier and well-written compared to this movie.

For the older Eddie Murphy fans of SNL and Dr Doolittle... they will enjoy this movie! Murphy does well in crazy plots; the side jokes will make you laugh. This is a funny, family-friendly movie where you do not have to keep up with the plotline, and it will make the little ones laugh.
